Cantine Bonelli: returns the long-awaited Jazz SummerWine signature event.

An evening outdoors in the charming summer garden, accompanied by the persuasive notes of jazz music, sipping a glass of good wine.

This is what awaits you on Thursday, August 4, immersed in the charm of Cantine Bonelli, in the heart of the Trebbia Valley.

Jazz SummerWine returns this year in its ninth edition, with three events that reintroduce the engaging pairing of good music and authentic wines.

Collateral to the main itinerant music festival Summertime in Jazz, conceived by Piacenza Jazz Club and promoted by Fondazione di Piacenza e Vigevano, JazzSummerWine is part of a program of events that involves, to the sound of music, two of Piacenza's wonderful valleys, Val Trebbia and Val d'Arda.

A grand opening in the city with Fabio Concato, in the St. Clare complex, will kick off the fifteen concerts on the program: twelve those of the main festival plus three others that fit precisely into Jazz SummerWine, involving representative wineries of the area.

Once again this year the aim is to combine art, music, entertainment and the values of the territory, of which the wines are an authentic expression.

Starting at 9:30 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 4, you can immerse yourself in a real jazz tasting that will enliven the company's garden where the Bologna-based trio Gajè Gipsy Swing, consisting of violin, double bass and guitar, will offer a journey through swing and popular music.

And so, starting from the Gypsy France of the 1920s and 1930s, some of the classic pieces of the Jazz-Manouche tradition will be retraced, all the way to the Balkans and the easternmost tips of the Mediterranean basin.

The combination of wine and music, which has been a great success in previous editions, promises an immersive experience in the two different art forms, that of music and that of authentic wine production in the Piacenza area, that will not fail to amaze you.
