Did you know...

There is a Denomination bearing the name of Trebbia Valley?

Trebbianino Val Trebbia is one of the types of wine included in the Colli Piacentini DOC appellation.

Grapes from the varieties Ortrugo, Malvasia di Candia aromatica, Moscato bianco, Trebbiano Romagnolo, Sauvignon and other white grape varieties suitable for cultivation in Emilia-Romagna contribute to its production, in percentages set by the production regulations.

It is the most representative wine of our Cellars: it was founder Anacleto Bonelli himself who first produced it in the 1950s, with the goal of creating a distinctive wine of the Trebbia Valley.

Recognition of the DOC, whose request was made by Anacleto himself, was first rejected because he was the only one producing it in the area.
After involving other producers in the valley in the production of Trebbianino, he succeeded in 1975 in having the prestigious certification awarded to the symbolic wine of the Trebbia Valley.

Trebbianino has always expressed our connection with the valley, which has been embodied in the important sustainability project we have undertaken, "Sostenuto Assai."
