Description

The most typical of Piacenza's wines can only be made and bottled in the territory of Piacenza. Its name originates from the Roman wine vase found on the banks of the Po River bearing the inscription "Gutturnium." DOC since 1967 has the distinction of being among the first Italian wines to be granted DOC status, the seventh to be exact.
